Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2, 2026

Template notice. These terms are a starting point. Have them reviewed by legal counsel and tailor the governing law, liability, and subscription sections to your business before launch.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Tracer Vision (the "App"), or by joining our early-access list, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial or internal use.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the videos and traces you create ("Your Content"). Tracing happens on your device — we don't take ownership of Your Content and don't receive it through normal use. You are responsible for having the right to record and share any clip you use, including the consent of people who appear in it.

4. Acceptable use

  • Don't use the App to infringe anyone's rights or to process footage you have no right to use.
  • Don't reverse-engineer, resell, or misrepresent the App or its output.
  • Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our systems.
  • Don't use the App for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes.

5. Purchases & subscriptions

Some features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase processed by Apple. Billing, renewals, and refunds are handled under Apple's App Store terms. Prices and features may change; we'll give notice where required.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its software, design, trademarks, and branding are owned by Tracer Vision and protected by law. These terms don't grant you any rights to our marks or code beyond the license above.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Automatic tracing is a best-effort estimate of ball flight and may be inaccurate; do not rely on it for measurement, coaching decisions, wagering, or competition purposes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tracer Vision will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the App. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability) will survive termination.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tracer Vision is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. [Insert the governing jurisdiction and dispute-resolution venue with counsel.]
